Luke chapter three calls me to expectant hope. While John the Baptist was in the desert, the word of God came to him. God's word could have come to Pilate, Herod, or Caiaphas who were the most powerful political and religious leaders in Palestine. Instead, it came to John. What do you need courage to do? I had this idea last year, but lacked the courage to follow through.
